Disabled Parenting Project Message Boards › Cannabis for sleep apnea
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea a few years back. It has been well controlled with a CPAP machine and got to the point where I couldn’t sleep without it. Six months back, I started getting very fatigued during the day. I consulted a doctor and he told that I am totally fine. Next, my CPAP machine was checked. It was fine too.
But, I was becoming more and more tired. Last week, I woke in the middle of the night gasping for air. I was on my CPAP, but I was totally out of breath. I now use oxygen almost constantly and am looking at what is causing the problem and what the fix is.
My friend mentioned about a medical cannabis clinic in Toronto, which provides treatment for sleep disorders. They make use of medical cannabis to treat sleep disorders. Is there anybody over here who have tried cannabis to treat sleep disorders? Please give some genuine replies and suggestions. Thanks in advance.
